Zack's Work at Vaster

Zack Simkins joined Vaster in February 2017 as an Associate to help create and launch the company, quickly demonstrating his capability in managing financial operations and contributing to Vaster's growth. In February 2020, he was promoted to Finance Manager, overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Since October 2021, Zack has served as General Manager and Managing Director of Vaster. In this role, he is responsible for managing the company’s operating platform and various debt funds. His responsibilities include overseeing the origination of private loans secured by residential and commercial real estate, managing the fund's capital structure and portfolio, and ensuring the delivery of target returns to investors. Under Zack’s leadership, Vaster has originated and managed over $500MM in private loans, reinforcing the company’s position as a key player in the U.S. real estate market .

Education

Zack graduated from Penn State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Psychology. He further enhanced his expertise by earning an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Miami in 2016.
