Nybiam was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
After graduating from college in 2003, she began her professional career in San Juan, Puerto Rico, working as a Junior Account Executive at Cassianos Communications, the publisher of the largest English-speaking weekly paper in Puerto Rico, Caribbean Business, in addition to other publications.
Before bringing her talents to Vaster, Nybiam worked with Caliber Home Loans as a production assistant. In this post, she provided administrative and other clerical support to Loan Consultants and Branch Managers to assist with loan production.
At Caliber Home Loans, Nybiam had a wide range of responsibilities, including assisting with managing active pipelines and inputting borrower information. She ensured that documentation was accounted for and properly completed and signed. Nybiam documented loan details for processing and mailed documents to clients for signature.
She had the critical role of ensuring that loan packages were complete before loan closing and relevant parties had received the paperwork necessary to close. Nybiam also communicated with clients and maintained a phone log of calls made and received by the Loan Consultant.
Nybiam specifically worked on Buena Vida Magazine, as she was in charge of generating leads and selling ads and events. She achieved $300k in sales using half-page, full-page, or feature packages in just over a year at Cassianos Communications.
In 2008, Nybiam started working at Televisa, a major Latin American mass media corporation, as a Junior Account Executive. In this role, she collaborated and communicated with cross-functional teams to ensure brand alignment and successful outcomes. At the same time, she organized layouts with editorial and coordinated with other departments to make sure the client’s requirements were met.
After just under two years in that position, Nybiam was promoted to Senior Sales Account Manager. There, she sold magazine advertising against agreed targets and managed a portfolio of over 500 clients.
International Business Dealings
Additionally, she worked to secure an average of five new accounts every month and met an impressive sales goal of $1 million within her first year. During that time, she also coordinated with international clients in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and the continental United States.
In 2017, Nybiam started her career in Miami as a Brand Sales Manager for Conrad Hotels & Resorts. In this role, she coordinated the development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support marketing and sales programs. She also wrote and maintained website content, including digital advertising content through monthly newsletters and email marketing lists.
Then in 2019, Nybiam joined the Lounge Design Miami as a Sales Account Specialist, wherein she managed a portfolio of over 1,000 clients. She was also responsible for generating 300+ leads/prospects each month and was able to surpass her annual sales goals in the process.
Nybiam earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico-Metropolitan Campus in 2003.
Founded in 1982, this university is part of the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico System.
Nybiam’s Work at Vaster
Nybiam joined the Vaster team at the beginning of 2022 as a Production Assistant for our origination team.
Nybiam’s role as the production assistant centers around being the liaison between sales and loan processing to ensure a seamless loan experience for our clients. Her experience in Latin American market and loan consultation will certainly serve her well in this position, and we are extremely excited to have her join the team.
