Education

Andrew graduated in December 2020 from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, with dual degrees in Accounting and Finance, studying additional coursework in real estate. While at Florida State University, he took courses like the Principles of Real Estate and Real Estate Finance. At FSU, Andrew earned a coveted spot on the Dean’s list.

He was also a member of the Florida State University Real Estate Society. This organization provides hands-on experience by interacting with the top local professionals and experts in law, consulting, development, appraisal, and more. Members build valuable business relationships with not only other members but industry leaders.

Prior to attending Florida State University, he attended Clemson University in South Carolina. There, he pursued a degree in Business and commerce.

Andrew was admitted to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of Miami’s Herbert School of Business in June 2021. He is expected to graduate in December 2022 with a concentration in real estate. 

He attended Jesuit High School in Tampa, FL, and graduated with his high school diploma in 2016. He was actively involved in the school hockey team, which served his love of teamwork and a healthy spirit of competition.

Experience

Previously, Andrew served as a corporate accounting intern for a regional full-service commercial real estate firm in Tampa, FL, while working to earn two bachelor’s degrees from Florida State University.

His responsibilities included daily reconciliation of multiple bank accounts to the general ledger, the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable, and the reconciliation of insurance escrow accounts. He later went on to provide pre-audit support for the company and helped write standard accounting policies and procedures for the firm’s handbook.

Andrew's Work at Vaster

Andrew puts his education in accounting and finance to good use by providing research assistance and data analysis to several departments within Vaster including underwriting, operations, and marketing. Andrew concluded his internship with Vaster in January 2022 to continue his graduate program at the University of Miami. The team at Vaster is thrilled with his work as a research analyst intern. Andrew proved to be an incredible asset to our team. His motivation to learn new skills and be a dynamic team player will be a driving force towards his advancement in the real estate industry.
